Local Wineries Near the Villa
- To the north: The vineyards of the Marchesi de Frescobaldi — among the most prestigious wine families in Italy, along with Antinori and Ricasoli (each with roughly 30 generations of winemaking).Visit the Nipozzano Castle for stunning views and a thousand years of history. Laura and Stefania offer guided tours (booking recommended).
- To the south: The vineyards of Count Busi. Visit Villa Travignoli (Via Travignoli 78, Pelago) to taste “La Tegolaia” wine, produced from the vines surrounding the villa’s entrance.

The Tuscan Wine Roads
Villa La Tegolaia lies at the crossroads of four famous wine routes, including the renowned Chianti Classico Road (SR222) and the Chianti Rufina Route.
The four wine routes are:
- Strada del vino Chianti Rufina e Pomino
- Strada del vino di Montespertoli
- Strada del vino e dell’olio del Montabano – Le Colline di Leonardo
- Strada del vino del Chianti Classico
